In his age of 9 - in 1997 - Beat Panama aka Tamas Lazar has got acquainted with hip-hop. At first as a listener, break dancer, skate boarder started to wear the street-desks of the hip-hop school and then his attention turned to the turntable and scratching.

He bought his first turntable in 2004 he was so much impressed by Gangstarr, Dr. Dre, Wu-Tang Clan, and the "Arral Szemben" (Against The Flood) from his native Hungary. By the year of 2005 he has become one of the resident Dj-s of the best-known party series called "Romlott Hazai" (Rotten Home-made) in Debrecen town. In companion with 2 of his mates (Sonnykraft and Kartman) they won the Blak Dj Contest in 2008 then in the last year he ended up at the 2nd place of the national Dj competition called "Karcosok Klubja" (Scratchers' Club).

He has been making music since 2007. As Beat Panama his first appearance is Interception. The album is featured with two MCs - Phil G from New York and Nite Boogie from New Jersey he picked up from Myspace and found the common sound soon.

The title of the album refers from one hand to the move how a Dj encroaches in the spinning of a record, from the other hand it is a hint how the album got into shape by sending the tunes to each other.
